The Battle of Super-foods: Two Greens That Pack Punches

Wash kale (top left) and spinach (top right) vegetables with thoroughness because they grow close to the ground. Cook kale first because it is harder/firmer than spinach. However, they should retain their green color. Drain and keep the liquid/vegan broth for other dishes. Shred baked or broiled chicken and spread on the leafy vegetables. Sprinkle crushed red pepper and other herbs and spices and mix all to reveal the contrast. Serve warm or hot.
