Last-Minute Items Before We Sit Down

We are getting last-minute items ready after the entrées are almost ready: soup, rolls, cabbage, and green beans. We love rolls so much that I baked them half (in a metal dish) and half (in a glass dish)--some to get started with dinner and the rest on low heat for after dinner.

Chicken broth from the cooked chicken Cassie prepared a few days ago is the base for today's potato and cheese soup cooking in the crockpot. Add cooked potato chunks, cheese, and turmeric for good health and color.
