On a Rainy Day Like Today, You Need This

You need this soup. It is not just any soup; it is a blues chaser, an aches-and-pain pill, and the take-one-cup-and-never-call-your-doctor “medicine.” This is my concoction. Depending on what ails my daughter or me, I sprinkle herbs and spices generously and in variations. The soup goes into every nook and cranny of the body, pulls out all those “monsters” that cause the body to break down, and it makes you forget that you were sick or why you were sick in the first place.

Good Old Campbell Tray, so portable.

What's in there? Black pepper, chopped garlic, chopped onions, bay leaves, basil, chicken bouillon, lemon pepper, sage, paprika, tumeric, thyme, rosemary, cayanne pepper, oregano, parsley, crushed red pepper, carrots, broccoli, potatoes, and one Maggi cube
Because Maggi cubes and chicken bouillon are high in salt, I do not add salt to my food, and it tastes salty enough.

Bon appetite! Stay warm and dry.
